Girls Embracing Medicine & Success and NOVACANCY Magazine are partnering up to reward TWO scholarships for high school students. This scholarship can be used toward any educational related expenses such as college application fees, tuition, housing, books, etc. Be creative and submit a video and/or essay on how you could make the medical field or fashion industry more sustainable!

Who We Are
Girls Embracing Medicine & Success and NOVACANCY Magazine have teamed up to form The GEMS x NOVACANCY Project. This collab was born out of a passion to provide support and guidance to women of color. GEMS is a mentoring organization geared toward inspiring women of color to pursue medicine while providing the resources to help them achieve their goals. NOVACANCY Magazine is a fashion and beauty magazine showcasing what’s good and who’s doing it in the industry.

To support young women of color on their journey to success through scholarship and mentoring. We believe that an important part of paving the way in our fields is to also improve its current standards.
